My introduction to Manduka products came by way of Wanderlust Hollywood, my favorite yoga studio in Los Angeles. Much like Wanderlust, I love their ethos. They were a company founded with a greater good in mind. Must be doing something right since they have been around for the last 20 years with products used 4000+ yoga studios.
This May Manduka is partnering with Susan G. Koman to create “The Yoga Class of One Million to Battle Breast Cancer.” I lost my sister to this cancer five years ago, so I am in huge support of this ambition.
Susan G. Koman Background. “In 1980, Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became the Susan G. Komen organization and the beginning of a global movement. The bold goal is to reduce cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S. by 2026.”

Manduka Products are both form and function and made of sustainable material. I am a fan of the recycled foam yoga block. They are even comfortable to sit on during long hours of teacher training discussions.
